Zeeland Historical Society Ribbon Cutting


The Zeeland Historical Society invites you to a ribbon cutting for the relaunch of the Dekker Huis Museum. Over the past year, the museum has been transformed with new exhibits—Stories of Service: The Veteran’s Memorial Room and The Les and Viv Memorial Civic Legacy Exhibit: The Heart of Zeeland—along with a new Welcome Video that captures the spirit of our community. Many of the exhibits have been reimagined with fresh storytelling, hands-on interactives, and accessible tools that make history engaging for all ages. 

This ribbon cutting marks a new chapter for one of Zeeland’s most beloved cultural institutions, and they look forward to sharing these renewed spaces with the community. Immediately following, guests are invited to continue the celebration at our Foundations for the Future fundraiser. Tickets will be available for purchase for those who wish to join.
