As a Digital Writer, you will:
Digital storyteller with an in-depth knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and an exceptional editing skillset. Works closely with internal subject matter experts and stakeholders to augment existing content to digital channels as well as identify new content opportunities. Focuses on User Experience and SEO copy for Haworth.com and writes for social media, email marketing, and paid social media.
Do you have these required qualifications?
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field.
- Five years digital marketing related experience and professional experience in writing and editing.
- Two years of content writing and optimization or management experience.
- Experience with SEO and SEM practices.
- Experience with Google Analytics and SEO tools like SEMrush, BrightEdge, etc.
- A portfolio of digital content work, including short- and long-form web copy, email, and social media.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
- Knowledge of SEO and how to write content to drive SERPs
- Excellent communication, organizational and writing skills
- Ability to articulate and communicate brand tone, voice and messaging across digital channels.
- Familiarity with the MS Office Suite, including Excel
- Strong team player who can thrive with a global team in a collaborative, diverse, cross-functional Marketing department, yet is able to work end-to-end independently.
- Experience working with internal and external partners including agencies and contractors.
