Job Overview

We are currently looking for an Engineering Designer I to join our engineering team in Holland, MI. 


As an Engineering Designer I, you will:

Develop designs and 3D CAD models for new products and revise designs for existing products, meeting established quality and performance standards, by the use of 3D CAD software(Creo). Document, or oversee documentation of, new and revised designs including the bill of materials(BOM) and engineering change order(ECO). Participate in design review with production teams, mock-up, test lab set up, and other related activities as needed.

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Associates degree in Engineering design field.
  • 4 years product design experience.
  • CAD or PC design experience required.

OR

  • 4-year technical degree.
  • CAD or PC design experience strongly preferred.

OR

  • 8+ years of design and drafting experience and training.
  • CAD or PC design experience required.


  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in Holland MI without relocation assistance.

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Parametric-based systems CAD or PC design experience.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Good knowledge of engineering practices and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) drafting practices, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT).
  • Ability to conceptualize multidimensional models on CAD or PC.
