Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst I to join our team in Holland, MI.  This position will be eligible for a flexible work schedule which allows for work from home 1 or 2 days a week. 

 

As a Financial Analyst, you will:

 

Be a collaborative business advisor to managers, VP’s, officers and executives within Haworth’s Selling, General and Administrative (SG&A) functional groups. Assist these organizations with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly report out on performance to plan.  You will also work with other Financial Analysts and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the America’s FP&A team.

 

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3 years of professional accounting, finance and analytical experience with progressively expanding duties.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work on-site in Holland, MI.

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Experience with supporting corporate business groups with budget planning.
  • Certified Public Accounting (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
  • Experience with SAP and/or BPC. 
  • Experience working in the office furniture or manufacturing environment.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong experience in building cross-functional relationships.
  • Ability to present financial results in a group meeting setting.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and manage multiple high priority projects at the same time.
  • Advanced Excel skills to gather, analyze and report data.
