Position: Full-time

Hours available: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5pm;

Some weekend or evening hours needed on occasion

Reporting to: Outreach Program Lead

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour, based upon experience

Benefits: Full time positions are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package

About the Position

Are you concerned about the issue of homelessness in our area? Do you seek one-on-one connection with people? Are you interested in working with our unhoused neighbors? Join our Outreach Team! We are looking for a teammate who loves building relationships, and is a strong advocate for our community.

The Outreach team is fast-paced and requires adaptability, problem-solving, and strong, interpersonal capacity. Time will be spent across sites including the Community Kitchen, Refresh, and throughout Ottawa County. As a Homeless Outreach Specialist, you’ll use problem solving skills to connect individuals to resources, with the ultimate goal of finding stable housing, to serve our houseless neighbors in our fast-paced, community based organization.
