Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Human Resources Programs and Events Specialist to join our team in Holland, MI.

As a Human Resources Programs and Events Specialist, you will:

Coordinates Human Resources (HR) programs and events to ensure seamless execution, including Talent Stream process from creation of pre-work, coordination of event, and proper closure of event.  Provides intermediate operational support across HR functions to various Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and Haworth members.  Serves as front line resource to enable members to understand HR programs and events.

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years experience in event coordination, project or program management, or planning.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance. 

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Experience with Systems Applications Processes (SAP) software. 
  • Excellent Excel Skills.
  • Experience working in a Corporate setting.


Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, by telephone and in person, required.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain integrity and privacy of confidential information.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and quickly assess and respond to customer requirements.
  • Broad technical and organizational skills with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to change and learn quickly.
  • Excellent PC and keyboard/mouse skills required; intermediate PowerPoint and Word skills.
