Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Holland, MI.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will:
Generate demand and develop sales opportunities via telephone and on-line sales portal to achieve maximum sales profitability and growth within assigned territory. Utilize exceptional communication, technology, and relationship-building skills to generate new leads for Haworth Sales and our Dealer partners.
Essential Functions
- Develop strong product knowledge and sales skills. Research assigned region to create targeted strategies that generate leads and secure new business opportunities or appointments. Utilize knowledge/training to increase effectiveness for meeting performance goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with Haworth sales and dealer personal on baseline research to identify key contacts at small to medium sized businesses and critical account information prior to prospecting call. Plan customized approach and applies appropriate sales and messaging techniques for establishing strong customer relationships.
- Develops and updates a database of key contacts for each region using Vine/Microsoft Dynamics, Zoominfo, Dun & Bradstreet, and LinkedIn. Tailors messaging for effective communication with each persona and maintains an accurate CRM database to track prospects, sales activities, generate reports, and forecasts.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads, follow-up, and outbound calls and emails, including drip campaigns. Conduct follow up with prospects using consultative approach to uncover client needs, determine buying influences, budgets, scope, and purchasing criteria.
- Evaluates potential opportunities to determine necessary follow-up and routes qualified prospects to the sales team for further development and closure.
- Manages the relationship with targeted retailers, driving revenue growth and positioning, and overseeing the entire lifecycle maintenance of the account.
- Effectively manages time to meet daily metrics and monthly targets.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing liberal arts, design or equivalent.
- Education Equivalency: Associate Degree in business, sales, marketing, liberal arts, design PLUS 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience.
Additionally:
- Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
- Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior sales, inside sales, or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience using customer relationship management (CRM tools) preferred.
