Starting rate is $16.50 per hour on 1st shift and $17.50/hr for 2nd and 3rd!

EBW Electronics has a diversified customer base spanning multiple industries and specializes in the design and manufacturing of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA).


Summary:

The Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator’s main function is to operate the surface mount line equipment in a safe and effective manner. The SMT Operator will perform line equipment setups and preparations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow all related work instructions, achieve quality goals and production targets and follow all safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Perform PCB Load/ Unload, Transfer Conveyors, Screen Printer, SM Machines, Reflow Oven
  • Component setups and teardown’s of Cassette Feeder, Tray Feeders, Vibratory Feeders, Hand Placed Components
  • Surface Mount Management System Database (SMMS) startup requires operator to login and startup of the SMMS database as well as logging data in the SMMS database
  • Report to your Team Leader and inform SM Technicians on all problems and issues at all times. Logging all data related to SM problems in the SMMS database.
  • Knowledge of IPC specifications related to SM assembly. Ensure quality meets or exceeds quality requirements.
  • Perform basic daily cleaning of machine surfaces, scrap bins and surrounding SM production areas. (5S)
  • Meet or exceed production set targets.
