Member Guest Service Desk Representative


Position Summary: Functions as the first point of contact at one of our main entrances. Attend to members and guests needs by providing excellent service as it pertains to products, services and general information of Evergreen. Able to resolve any emerging problems or questions that our members may encounter with accuracy, understanding and compassion.

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Handle inquiries and requests of information via phone, email or in person competently and promptly
  • Provide appropriate solutions and alternatives to ensure resolution to any complaints or issues that may arise between  members and the organization’s policies
  • Accurately enter data pertaining to member interactions through memberships and transactions
  • Effectively manage large amounts of incoming and outgoing calls
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with members, guests and staff
  • Work effectively as part of a team
  • Assist with opening and closing duties
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required, some post-secondary education preferred
  • Previous customer service experience, principle and practices
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must present a professional appearance at all times
  • Knowledge of standard computer applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM database software
  • Exceptional telephone manner
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Friendly, outgoing and enjoy working with older adults
