Part-Time School-Year Custodian

Hamilton Community Schools has an opening for a part-time School-year custodian at Bentheim Elementary and invites hardworking self-motivated individuals to apply for this position.   

 

LOCATION: Bentheim Elementary 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of federal and state criminal background checks
  • Ability to perform physical work that may include the lifting/moving of 50+ lbs.
  • Demonstrates dependability and promptness
  • Contribute to a positive climate and culture by exhibiting high professional standards
  • Provide a foundation for integrity, pride of accomplishment, self-discipline, and teamwork 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

Perform all routine cleaning and basic maintenance for the school as prescribed by the custodial duty listing and schedules which includes but is not limited to:

  • Removing trash
  • Cleaning and disinfecting floors, windows, restrooms, etc.
  • Changing light bulbs
  • Vacuuming and mopping floors
  • Other duties as assigned

REPORTS TO:  Custodial Supervisor

STARTING DATE: ASAP

PAY RATE: $15.38 / hour plus an additional $1.50/hour night premium for hours worked 3:00 pm and after

AVERAGE WORK WEEK: Monday thru Friday from 4:00 PM - 9:30 PM
