Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Project Engineer I to join our team in Holland, MI

As a Project Engineer (Technology Focus) you will:

This is an ambassador role, that will require the new member to represent our Engineering team, with our Global Innovation Systems.   This role will require learning how we currently use CREO/ Windchill and help move our team to better methods, and process to utilize our purchased software to it’s fullest capabilities.   This position will require the member to  be a ‘change’ agent.   Driving for continuous improvements, thru the developing and executing plans with a team of members that do not report to them.  

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 6 years experience in engineering role.

OR

  • Master’s degree in Engineering
  • 4 years experience in engineering role.

 

  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
  • Ability to travel overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally, up to 25% of time.
 

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Thorough understanding of CREO CAD systems
  • Thorough understanding of Windchill, storage system for CAD data and other critical engineering documents
  • Technical accomplishments, as demonstrated through prior design drawings, patent awards, technical publications, and market success.
  •  Must be knowledgeable of applicable global standards such as American National Standards Institute (ANSI) drafting practices, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) and Canadian Government Test Standard (CGSB).

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Demonstrated ability to creatively design, analyze, and document product designs on multiple projects.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to ensure products and materials produced meet functional requirements over life of product.
