Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Project & Program Manager to join our North Region Client Engagement Studio. This is a remote position that requires the ability to occasionally travel to HQ in Holland, MI and regional customer sites throughout North America as needed.

As a Project & Program Manager, you will:

Engage in the coordinating, execution, monitoring, tracking, updating of programs and projects for successful engagements specifically within Haworth's Car Program (CP) brands. This role works hand in hand with CES leadership and cross-functionally with all CES members, field sales, internal design and marketing. You will assure successful development and execution of new project opportunities, streamline intake process, and provide input on improvements to existing programs to align with business objectives. You will also work with Haworth distribution networks (dealers) on a national basis ensuring that each auto brand receives consistent service levels.

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, architecture/design, construction or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years-experience in related duties in program/project management
  • Experience to include 1 year in architecture/design or furniture/systems industry

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Certified Associate in Project Management Construction (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Excellent presentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated program management ability to identify, articulate, and implement new practices and systems.
  • Excellent project management skills to simultaneously plan, coordinate, manage, and implement projects with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to analyze situations, identify and problem-solve and effectively prioritize and organize work.
  • Possesses proactive customer service and inside sales skills to ensure “value add” to customer and sales process.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and quickly learn and adapt to change.
  • Must be highly motivated, self-directed, quality-focused, and results-driven to meet deliverables.
  • Must have a flexible team-oriented attitude.
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively and quickly.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Outlook, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Vine, digital selling tools, Bluescape and remote communication tools. 
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
