Plascore is looking for an experienced purchasing agent to step into the Purchasing Agent II position within our Panels division.  This individual is responsible for purchasing raw materials, services and supplies, and performing administrative duties. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Monitor commodity markets for buying opportunities. 
• Source and procure raw materials, MRO, supplies, equipment and services at the best cost/value
• Procure production materials in line with customer certification requirements
• Continually increase supplier base
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets and Technical Data Sheets
• Create and maintain material specifications
• Qualify suppliers for products and services
• Evaluate supplier performance 
• Forecast material requirements
• Inventory management 
• Verify products/services are received and paid according to the purchase orders

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of progressive responsibility 
• 4 year degree or equivalent professional knowledge
• Strong independent judgement 
• Ability to analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative date

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR Regulations. Therefore, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident ('Green Card').
