Position Details

Position: 40 hours per week

Hours available Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm;

Some weekend or evening hours

Reporting to: People & Culture Manager

Compensation: $38,000 - $44,000 annual salary depending on experience

Benefits: Full time positions are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package


About the position

Community Action House is seeking a mission-focused, detail-oriented Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist to join our People & Culture Team! This position will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding new staff members across all programs and teams at CAH, with a goal of attracting passionate individuals aligned with organizational values to join our team.

In recruitment, the Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist will build off of existing policies and procedures, and manage the candidate pipeline with frequent touch-points to ensure a positive candidate experience from beginning to end. This role will work with program leadership to define employee recruitment, placement and onboarding needs.  In onboarding, the Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist will work with supervisors, our Operations Team, and the new hire to ensure an excellent onboarding experience which boosts employee engagement and retention.
