Job Overview

 

We are currently looking for a Sales Compensation Program Manager to join our HR team in Holland.

 

As a Sales Compensation Program Manager, you will:

Lead designing, analyzing, operationalizing, and administering the field sales base and incentive compensation program at Haworth. Partner with key stakeholders as a strategic business partner to create and recommend the compensation program that ensures internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Provide expert advice and counsel on compensation plan design (including base and incentive compensation) and administration to ensure alignment with the sales compensation philosophy while driving the brand strategy. Support the development and communication of sales compensation policies, processes, and programs.

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, finance, business-related discipline, or equivalent
  • Eight to ten years related business experience (i.e., Human Resources, Finance)
  • Experience to include five years in sales compensation

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
  • Related business experience in manufacturing or distribution environment

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication, customer service, coaching skills required.
  • Experience presenting analyses to management and ability to lead and drive initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical/analytical thinking abilities, and prioritization skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience of designing and administering incentive programs inclusive of plans and award programs.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of quota setting methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills. Ability to plan, manage and execute multiple projects and day-to-day operations concurrently.
  • Ability to easily convey concepts and priorities to peers, customers, and sales teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Knowledgeable of US and Canada wage and hour regulations.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as member of team.
  • Ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment, including remote communication tools. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to occasionally travel overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally.
