Job Overview

 

We are currently looking for a Seating Product Manager to join our Product Line Management team.  This position will be primarily onsite based in Holland, MI with some flexibility to work from home.  This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to lead a team that works cross-functionally with different departments within Haworth on both new and current product development!

 

As a Product Manager, you will:

 

Work with a highly collaborative team to manage product line segments and mix to maximize financial performance in a strategically important business unit. Develop product and business strategies based on customer, market and competitive data and information to ensure integration into the corporate strategic plan. Analyze competitive products on a continuous basis to ensure product line remains competitive. Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive successful business outcomes that drive sales and increase profitability. Consistently act and behave in a manner that supports a high-performance, team-based organization. Regularly travel to visit vendors, customers, and Haworth manufacturing facilities to support and promote product line.

Do you have these required qualifications?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, or other business related field.
  • 6 years Product Line Management experience, including experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Ability to travel overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally up to 10% of the time.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
  • Ability to bend/move/balance in manufacturing environment with ability to lift/move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

 

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration.
  • Experience working in the office furniture industry.
  • Previous Haworth experience.
  • Sales or Marketing experience in the furniture or automotive industries.
  • Experience reading data analytics with Qlik View, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
  • Experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience reading and analyzing financial statements.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

 

  • Experience with product innovation, portfolio development, concept strategy, market research and product execution.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Financial and business acumen.
  • Communication skills and ability to provide training to individuals or groups.
