The Annual Bev Drake Essential Service Awards recognize the vital role that frontline workers play in our local economy. These awards honor individuals who go above and beyond their daily responsibilities, exhibiting exceptional integrity, passion, and commitment in their work.

In times when businesses continue to face staffing challenges, celebrating dedicated employees is more important than ever. Please take a few minutes to nominate someone you know who fits the criteria for an Essential Service Award.

Award Criteria:

• At least two years of employment with their current company
• Non-managerial position
• Exhibits pride in their job, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and effective time management
• Works within the West Michigan Works! service area (Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Kent, Montcalm, Muskegon, and Ottawa counties)

Honorees will receive a gift card and be recognized at an Economic Club of Grand Rapids meeting in February 2025.

The nomination deadline is Monday, Sep. 30, 2024.
