Churches to Deliver Gift Boxes to 65 School Buildings in West Michigan to Say Churches Love Our School Workers.

West Michigan, MI - The Fearless Family of Churches and Movement West Michigan, in collaboration with more than 30 local congregations, are pleased to announce that local churches will be delivering gift boxes to every school building in Holland, Zeeland, Hamilton, and Saugatuck. The gift boxes are a way for the community to show appreciation for the hardworking school workers who have persevered through the challenges of the past several years.

The gift boxes will include $250 Meijer gift cards from Gentex, free drink cards from Biggby Coffee for every staff member, and West Coast Cash to purchase lunch for all staff from anonymous donors and the Fearless Family of Churches. The delivery of these boxes will take place between spring break and the end of the academic year. Each church is also adding their own expressions of care and support as they are able.

"It takes 65 buildings to bring life and education to the school system in Holland, Zeeland, Hamilton, and Saugatuck areas” said teaching pastor, Josh Zoerhof, who is leading this initiative for the Fearless Family of Churches. “We want to say thank you to all of our school workers and make sure they know we love and care about them.”

“Our local churches are an important part of community, and we tend to be known more for our differences than what we have in common. We can do more together than we can on our own,” said Kory Plockmeyer, Executive Director of Movement West Michigan, a local nonprofit that unites Christian leaders to help communities flourish. “This project is a powerful way to show that the local church is united in love for our local schools.”
