Employee Mental Health needs are on the rise.
Is an EAP worth providing to your employees? Lyra Health and the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions polled more than 1,200 workers who are covered in employer-based plans and found that 83% are experiencing mental health problems, which are caused by a mix of the pandemic and ongoing racial justice issues. At the same time, 40% said they don’t believe their employer cares about their mental health. These employees are nearly two times as likely to leave their job.
