Holland Farmers Market Announces Winner of First Ever Poster Design Contest

Holland, MI – The Holland Farmers Market is thrilled to announce that artist and graphic designer Taylor TeBos has won the first Poster Design Contest at the Market, along with a $500 cash prize. Her colorful and whimsical design featuring elements of farm life will be featured on posters promoting the Holland Farmers Market throughout Downtown Holland, in addition to being featured on merchandise that will be available for sale at the Market later this season. The Poster Design Contest is proudly sponsored by Fris Supply Shop in Downtown Holland.

“On behalf of our entire team at Fris Supply Shop, we’re excited to be able to sponsor the Holland Farmers Market’s first ever Poster Design Contest,” said Fris Supply Shop owner Andrew Fris. “It's a great way to get the art community involved and a fun way to be able to promote the Holland Farmers Market."

TeBos was raised in West Michigan, and received her Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Marketing from Cornerstone University. She is now a freelance graphic designer and photographer who loves to make her client’s visions to life. To her, it’s more than just snapping a picture or scribbling a design — it’s connecting with her clients and capturing all the special moments that are a part of their

unique story or mission. When she’s not behind a computer or camera, you’ll likely find her at a coffee shop, thrift shopping, or out somewhere exploring with a book in hand.

“The entire Holland Farmers Market team would like to congratulate Taylor on her award-winning poster design,” said Holland Farmers Market Marketing Coordinator Kara de Alvare. “We are so grateful for the nearly 100 design submissions we received as part of our contest, and we were truly blown away by the level of artistic talent among our Market fans. Selecting the winning design was more difficult than any of us imagined it would be!”

Beginning this coming Monday, May 1, the public will have the opportunity to select the runner up winner through a People’s Choice contest. Details on how to vote will be announced on the Holland Farmers Market Facebook page. The design with the most votes by Friday, May 5 will receive $100 in Market Bucks gift certificates and a gift card to Fris Supply Shop.
