Annual Event Showcases Homes to Tour Along the Lakeshore

The Lakeshore Home Builders Association will be presenting its exclusive Parade of Homes showcase June 1-3 and 8-10, 2023 from 12 to 8 pm each day. Sponsored by Lake Michigan Credit Union, the Parade of Homes features 19 beautiful homes by the Lakeshore Home Builders Association’s building professionals. This event is open to the public and attendees can tour 16 in person, and 3 virtual homes for design ideas, latest trends, and inspiration for their dream home.

Lakeshore HBA Executive Officer, Brittany Ryzenga, believes in supporting and celebrating present and future homebuilding professionals. This year, the Lakeshore Home Builders Association donated $1,200 in Parade tickets to Careerline Tech Center students who are graduating from construction trades programming. Students will be able to tour the homes, view the craftsmanship and technology used by builders and get a firsthand look at the different ways their new skills support our trades industry. Ryzenga also launched a young professional’s group in the Fall of 2022, where young professionals in the building industry can network and learn from experienced industry professionals. New to the Parade of Homes this year is the YP Brunch and Learn event. Lakeshore HBA young professionals will have an opportunity to tour two Parade homes and learn about the building process from start to finish. Ryzenga shares, “We’re passionate about expanding authentic learning opportunities for the next generation of home builders”.

$15 adults. Children 12 and under are free.
