Preserving Our Stories: A Sweet History of Holland Peanut Store

Holland, Michigan: The Holland Museum will host virtual fundraiser featuring Holland Peanut Store on May 20.

“The Museum is excited to present the history of the great local family-owned business, Holland Peanut Store,” says Executive Director, Ricki Levine. “In addition to being a fun and entertaining evening, this event will help to raise funds to support education initiatives at the Museum. This will allow us to continue to engage with and educate the greater Holland community.”

The Fabiano’s have captured hearts (and sweet tooths) for nearly 120 years with businesses including Holland Peanut Store. During this virtual event attendees will hear stories from patriarch Paul Fabiano and fourth and fifth generation family members who share their family’s history in an entertaining video. This will be a delightful evening of Holland Peanut Store goodies, storytelling, and meeting family members during a live Q & A.

If you love chocolates, nuts, and history, you will not want to miss this experience! Join other history buffs in this new virtual series where we explore unique stories from our local past and invite you to imagine and connect to our future. Participation will strengthen education programs serving our community, while attendees get to enjoy some delicious treats.

Levels of support:

$100- Friend of the Museum: One goodie bag of carefully selected Holland Peanut Store specialties along with a commemorative gift.

$150- Museum Partner: Two goodie bags of carefully selected Holland Peanut Store with a commemorative gift–one bag for you and one for a friend.

A portion of each purchased ticket will support the education department at the Holland Museum. During the live program on May 20th, there will be an opportunity to make an additional donation to support the Museum’s work directly benefiting area schools and youth.
