Royal Atrium Inn Celebrates 25 Years!

On June 2nd, Royal Atrium Inn-Assisted Living hosted a celebration to honor 25 years of service in our community. Mayor Klynstra presented the following proclamation:


PROCLAMATION

Recognizing the 25th anniversary of Royal Atrium Inn


WHEREAS, this year, the Royal Atrium Inn is celebrating it’s 25th year of existence; and

WHEREAS, the Royal Atrium Inn Christian Assisted Living Community was opened in 1997 to serve the growing number of people from Royal Park Place, the surrounding condominiums, and the Zeeland area who could no longer live independently; and

WHEREAS, Royal Atrium Inn is a Providence Community, which is committed to providing quality senior living options to those entrusted to their care; and

WHEREAS, Royal Atrium Inn Assisted Living includes a goal to allow a person to be as independent as they can be for as long as they can be; and

WHEREAS; they preserve and enhance a person’s independence while caring for the whole person – physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally; and

WHEREAS, they offer a robust life enrichment program with a variety of cultural, social and recreational programming onsite; and

WHEREAS, Royal Atrium Inn has been a positive attribute to the Zeeland Community by hosting events such as the Zeeland Public Schools K-12 annual art exhibition, health fairs, blood drives, and ice cream socials so that Zeeland residents can come on campus to enjoy the landscaped lawns and the atrium garden;

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Zeeland, Michigan and the Zeeland City Council hereby extend congratulations to the Royal Atrium Inn, and express our appreciation to the entire staff for their unselfish dedication to the welfare of the residents, and extend our best wishes upon the occasion of this 25th Anniversary.
