There's been a buzz at the Camp Sunshine office - summer camp applications opened on January 9, and sessions are filling up fast! In June and July we anticipate offering a four-day overnight camp experience to over 240 adult campers with developmental disabilities. Each camper will be paired with a volunteer counselor for their time at camp. This is just one of the spaces that our mission is carried out: “to offer experiences that nurture a culture of inclusion, grace, and joy, through which people with and without disabilities can transcend barriers and value both their own gifts and the talents of others.” We invite corporate teams, clubs, church groups, families or individuals to join us as Day or Evening Volunteers!

Camp Sunshine is currently seeking volunteers:

 *Camp Counselors to join us for a full session of camp to be paired 1:1 with a camper.

 *Day or Evening Volunteers to support our camper/counselor pairs and the activities offered. This is often a 3-4 hour commitment in the morning, afternoon or evening.

Session Dates:

Camp Henry (in Newaygo):

          *Session 1: Saturday, June 3 - Tuesday, June 6

          *Session 2: Wednesday, June 7 - Saturday, June 10

Camp Blodgett (in West Olive): 

          *Session 1: Monday, June 26-Thursday, June 29

          *Session 2: Friday, June 30 - Monday, July 3
