Food Club Ribbon Cutting

The mission of Community Action House is to provide area families and individuals with food, clothing, shelter, and the opportunity to build necessary skills to achieve a stable and prosperous life.

To best meet community needs, CAH is opening a Food Club where an $11-17 membership contribution is redeemed for over $120 worth of food in a 30 day period and delivered in a high choice, welcoming and guest convenient way. This experience will enable us to serve 5 times the guests served through our food pantry.

An opportunity hub next to the Food Club will provide financial wellness, home buyer education, foreclosure prevention programs along with a resource team ready to sign guests up for public programs to which they are eligible. Working alongside our neighbors we will reduce the basic need insecurities individuals and families need to thrive.

CAH also provides outreach and necessities to individuals in unsheltered situations, a retail store and no fee community kitchen serving 150-200 restaurant quality meals a day.
