Shift Climbing Gym Ribbon Cutting

Shift Climbing is officially open, bringing an innovative and inclusive climbing experience to the community! Founded by Jonathan Brandt and Jack Ogilvie, Shift is designed for everyone - from first-timers to seasoned climbers - offering a space to challenge yourself, build strength, and connect with others.

Shift offers a 12,500 square foot facility with over 5,000 square feet of climbing terrain, including dozens of climbs for climbers of all experience levels. Additionally, the Shift facility has a full-service cafe with craft espresso beverages fueled by MadCap, along with a curated selection of local, healthy, and tasty bites. Lastly, the space has a full-service accompanying fitness facility with cardio and strength training equipment available.

For Jonathan and Jack, opening Shift in Holland is a natural fit. They are striving to be the best employers in the climbing industry by creating a company that prizes its employees, with this then pouring out into the broader community. Additionally, Ottawa County is a haven in West Michigan for the active lifestyle, and both Jonathan and Jack are excited to bring yet one more curated option to this exceptional community.
