New Group Portal - Your upgrade is arriving soon

As spring brings longer days and fresh energy, it’s a great time to spotlight the importance of mental well-being. When employees have access to support and resources, they’re better able to stay engaged, productive and healthy. In this month’s digest, we’re highlighting tools and programs that can help you continue supporting the well-being of your members and their employees.

Last chance to join the Wellness Care Everywhere celebration

May is National Small Business Month, and we recognize small businesses don’t just drive local economies — they create workplaces where people feel supported, valued and connected. Our Wellness Care Everywhere celebration is almost over. Make sure to tell your members with 2-50 employees to submit by April 30 to secure their chance to win.

INSIGHTS

Paying for better health: A solution to rising health care costs

Blue Cross is working with physicians statewide to shift health care toward value-based care, focusing on prevention, coordination and better health outcomes. Programs such as the Physician Group Incentive Program help improve patient care while reducing unnecessary costs that drive up health care spending.

New Blue Cross Virtual Well-Being Webinars

May is Women’s Health Month, making it a great opportunity to encourage preventive care and healthy habits that support the women in your workforce. From annual checkups and recommended screenings to mental health support and lifestyle resources, taking proactive steps can help women stay healthier and catch potential concerns earlier. Supporting preventive care benefits for employees and their families can also contribute to improved productivity and reduced long-term health care costs.

Utilize these resources to help your members and their employees stay informed about their health:

As a reminder, your employees and family members on their plan have access to digital programs through Maven that support important life stages from maternity to menopause. These programs can help lead to healthier and happier family building and women’s health experiences at no cost. Use our toolkit to drive participation in these important programs.
