Harvest Stand Ministries ‘Fighting Hunger, Building Hope’ Capital Campaign Surpasses $2 Million Milestone
Campaign reaches construction funding threshold as renovations are scheduled to begin in Spring 2027
Zeeland, MI
July 15, 2026: The Harvest Stand Ministries Fighting Hunger, Building Hope Capital Campaign has reached a major milestone, surpassing $2 million in commitments and gifts. The achievement reflects the generosity of donors, community partners, and supporters who have invested in expanding the organization's ability to serve individuals and families facing food insecurity.
The campaign's ultimate fundraising goal remains $2.55 million, with fundraising continuing through the end of 2028. Every additional contribution will help ensure the organization can fully realize its vision of creating a modern, welcoming facility that will serve the community for decades to come.
Crossing the $2 million mark also means the campaign has exceeded its critical first benchmark of $1.95 million. This is the amount needed to fund the construction phase of the project. Reaching this threshold allows the organization to move forward with renovation plans.
"Our supporters have made this incredible milestone possible," said Executive Director, Jordan Palladino. "Surpassing $2 million is more than a fundraising achievement, it represents a community coming together to invest in hope. We are deeply grateful to every donor, volunteer, and advocate who has helped bring us to this point."
Building renovations are scheduled to begin in early Spring 2027, with the organization planning to move into its newly renovated facility in late Fall 2027. The renovated space will enhance the organization's capacity to meet the growing needs of the community while providing a more efficient and welcoming environment for clients, volunteers, and staff.
Although construction funding has been secured, campaign leaders emphasize that fundraising continues to build toward the $2.55 million goal. The remaining funds will support the complete vision for the project and ensure the organization is well-positioned to serve the community for years to come.
"We're excited to celebrate this milestone, but our journey isn't over," said Palladino. "We invite our community to continue partnering with us as we work toward our final campaign goal. Together, we are building more than a facility. We are making sure we can respond to human need with the love of Christ for decades to come."
