Organization Mission / Purpose:

To mediate for the resolution of conflict to promote peace. We are a non-profit providing affordable, confidential and successful mediation through the use of specially trained volunteer mediators. We promote peace in Ottawa and Allegan counties.

Briefly describe your process and timeline for adding new members:

There are various types of training for mediators - from domestic to general civil to special education. Each training is 40 hours usually within the same week. Fees are required but can be reduced in exchange for commitment to volunteer. On-line training is available.
