Briefly describe the opportunity: 

This course is designed to prepare seniors for life beyond high school by equipping them with essential real-world skills and practical knowledge. Whether students are heading to college, entering the workforce, or exploring other paths, the class will focus on tools and strategies to help them thrive independently and confidently.

Topics covered will include:

Personal Finance: Budgeting, saving, investing, understanding credit, and applying for loans (student, car, home).

Life Skills: Meal planning, grocery shopping, basic cooking, laundry, and household management.

Career Readiness: Crafting resumes, acing job interviews, and building professional networks.

Higher Education Preparation: Understanding financial aid, scholarships, and navigating the college admissions process.

Health and Wellness: Managing stress, staying organized, and creating balanced routines.

The course will feature hands-on activities, discussions, and guest speakers from various industries who will provide practical insights into financial literacy, career development, and daily life management. By the end of the course, students will feel empowered with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the transition into adulthood confidently.
