Topics of Discussion:
Understanding the Impact of Michigan's New Minimum Wage and Paid Leave Regulations
At the West Coast Chamber, we strive to educate on important issues and advocate for a business friendly environment. On July 31, 2024, the Michigan Supreme Court ruled that two ballot proposals from 2018 will take effect on February 21, 2025. Each could have a significant impact on your business. The first will raise the minimum wage, including for tipped employees. The second will enact paid leave benefits for all full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees regardless of industry, employee count, or current benefits plan.
Join us to learn about the impact of these rulings on your business and what you need to do to ensure your organization is compliant with these new regulations.
