TEAM BE BETTER; Ribbon Cutting

TEAM BE BETTER; is a Holland-based nonprofit providing family-centered mental health support, education, and advocacy for adolescents, young adults, and student-athletes. 

Steve and Jill Miskelley and Dr. Michael Brashears created TEAM BE BETTER; in 2021 after the Miskelley's son Ian died by suicide during his junior year as a swimmer at the University of Michigan. 

The no-cost TEAM BE BETTER; care model brings families together for personalized screenings and education, increased communication and parental involvement, and advocacy. The organization is also developing a preferred provider network.

Through generous community support and sponsors, TEAM BE BETTER; moved from a small room to a dedicated office to support growing client demand. 

The new office at 386 Garden Avenue offers spaces for individual consultants, family consultations, small group education sessions, and podcasting. 

Join us to celebrate the Grand Opening of the TEAM BE BETTER; headquarters and help kick-off our milestone fifth year.
