Description
The Power and Practice of Purposeful Leadership
Featuring Guest Speaker, Zach Mercurio
Join us as we welcome Zach Mercurio, who will lead us through what experiencing purpose in everyday life, work, and school can accomplish. The belief that we and what we do matter is a fundamental predictor of well-being, motivation, and resilience in work and life. Yet people, more than ever, report feeling invisible, undervalued, underappreciated, and purposeless.
The good news is that decades of research show that we can actively craft a contribution-first approach to our lives, leadership, and work to stay connected to our impact and build organizations and communities around us where everyone realizes their significance.
In this session by author and researcher Zach Mercurio, Ph.D., participants will learn the practice-proven and research-backed skills for experiencing more impact in life, work, and school. Participants will also learn how to build a culture of purpose for others by ensuring everyone around them feels like they matter.
After this session, participants will be able to….
- Understand how purpose and mattering contribute to personal and organizational thriving
- Learn the skills to develop a purposeful approach to life and work to enable more meaning, motivation, and well-being
- Practice the skills to see and experience purpose daily
- State their purpose
- Learn how to create cultures and communities of purpose where everyone knows how they matter
