CNC Programmer II
Plascore has an opening for a CNC Programmer II. They will develop 5-axis NC programs utilizing CATIA and other CAD/CAM programs for profiling metallic and non-metallic structural core materials and sub-assemblies for various aircraft applications.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and define 5-axis NC programs
- Creates part drawings in CATIA and SolidWorks
- Define and design machining and inspection fixtures
- Prepare work instructions and maintain accurate records
- Design product flow and work center layout
- Facilitate continuous improvement process
- Prototype and ensure the quality of first article parts
- Analyze job orders, drawings, specifications and design data to calculate dimensions, tool selection. machine speeds and feed rates
- Programming in CATIA
- Assists other programmers in their daily work
- Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment and methods
Qualifications:
- Four to seven years of progressively more responsible experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- High level of analytical ability
- Must be able to work well independently and be self-directed
- maintain a clean and safe work et written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
