Litigation and Medical Malpractice Attorney
Smith Haughey Rice and Roegge (Smith Haughey), home to one of West Michigan’s most successful litigation departments, seeks Attorneys to join our Litigation and Medical Malpractice teams in our Grand Rapids, Holland, and Muskegon offices.
Smith Haughey was established in 1941 and since has been serving clients in communities across Michigan. At Smith Haughey, we are always looking for talented people with a relentless commitment to excellence and high achievement interested in building their careers with our firm. We believe the quality of our people defines the quality of our law firm. We recognize the sum of this law firm is much greater than its individual parts. Everyone has a role, but it takes the team to ensure we are excellent as a whole.
The attorneys should have one to ten years of experience. Qualified candidates must have experience in litigation, motions and depositions, excellent research and writing skills, and a commitment to excellence. Medical malpractice and/or appellate practice experience a plus. Licensure as an attorney in the State of Michigan, or ability to obtain license, is required. The compensation package includes bonus opportunities, and we offer significant growth potential.
As an equal opportunity employer, Smith Haughey is committed to a diverse, multi-cultural work environment. Smith Haughey does not discriminate in employment on the basis of age, race, creed, gender, gender identity, religion, marital status, veteran’s status, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.
