Job Overview

 

We are currently looking for a Product Analyst to join our team in Holland, MI.

 

As a Product Analyst, you will:

 

Support the Product Line Management (PLM) management team. Conduct competitive research, data management, reporting, and assist on product development projects for the product team. Provide analytical information regarding sales, profitability, product development, manufacturing, and financial performance. Regular interaction with dealers and members across the organization.

 

Some of the responsibilities include (but not limited to):

 

  • Provides market information to Manager in effort to make informed and timely decisions to achieve product line performance objective.
  • Assists with development and coordination of marketing plans to expand product margins and position Haworth as industry leader.
  • Assists with determination of and corrective action plans required to correct field problems, stimulate sales, and position product line as market leader.
  • Assists with development and implementation of product strategies leading to achievement of corporate objectives.
  • Assists with development of product volume and mix forecasts for new and existing products to expand product margins and position Haworth as leader in industry.
  • Conducts analyses regarding initiation, continuation, modification, or cancellation of individual products or product lines to support marketing objectives.
  • Supports Manager through preparation and evaluation of industry and market trend analyses.
  • Assists with and coordinates market research activities to obtain competitive materials such as literature, products, and/or pricing.
  • Provides assistance with development and coordination of market research to obtain information on new and existing products to make product line decisions. 

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Design, Marketing or Finance.
  • 1 year Product Line Management, Finance, Marketing, Sales or Data Analytics experience. 
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Prior experience in contract furniture industry, walls, flooring or commercial A&D.
  • Experience working with a durable goods manufacturer.
  • Data mining experience.
  • Advanced user of Excel.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Ability to manage multiple project priorities.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work equally well as member of project team or independently.
  • Maintains confidentiality when working with proprietary information.
