At K&R Truck Sales and West Michigan International (WMI), we are a locally owned group of companies devoted to bringing our customers the very best when it comes to a full-service truck dealership. We are based in West Michigan with 5 locations in Grand Rapids, Holland, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Muskegon to support our customers with an extensive service department, 3 complete body shops, parts including delivery, a fleet of mobile service trucks, towing and a laser focus on customer service. This is all in addition to truck sales, leasing/rental, and financing.

We are looking to hire a talented Service/Parts Advisor for 2nd shift to join our team and grow with us. This position works four 10-hour days with a Saturday rotation. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, inventory needs, parts, technician scheduling, and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the driveline to explaining the repair process and ordering parts, our Service and Parts Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others.   • Oversee flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
  • Greeting customers, answering phones and questions
  • Opening and closing repair orders
  • Ensuring proper company and warranty processes are followed
  • Preparing and presenting accurate repair estimates
  • Obtaining repair authorizations
  • Keeping all parties updated on diagnostics and repair progress
  • Supervising the shop operation and workflow during the shift
  • Distribute work between technicians efficiently ensuring daily inventory of technicians’ time is sold to service customers
  • Lookup parts for customers and technicians at the back counter
  • Take customer parts calls
