A few blocks from downtown Zeeland, residents of Heritage are able to be part of the city’s events and programs. Our staff members design activities that fit our residents’ needs, interests and hobbies while maintaining and promoting the highest level of independence. Visits to the local library, farmers’ market, ice cream shop, specialty stores and restaurants are part of our residents’ social life. Heritage is a 39-bed family-centered community in a quiet, residential district of Zeeland. Our T-shaped building keeps everyone closely connected. Our nurses’ station is located in the heart of our community. From this central point, our staff members can see all of the resident rooms and respond to requests with ease. Heritage is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. Our core motivation is realizing the rehabilitation potential of residents who are experiencing some of the most challenging days of their lives. Services include physical, occupational and speech therapy with an integrated skilled nursing team. Individualized, resident-centered therapy versus group therapy contributes to our low average length of stay. Our goal is to maximize each resident’s potential while maintaining and promoting the highest level of independence.
