Description - Resilience: Advocates for Ending Violence is a nonprofit organization serving Ottawa and Allegan counties in Michigan, dedicated to responding to, reducing, and preventing domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The organization provides free, confidential, 24/7 services to survivors, including a 24/7 Help Line, emergency shelter, legal advocacy, trauma-informed therapy, 24/7 sexual assault nurse examinations, ongoing advocacy, and housing support. In addition to direct services, Resilience focuses on prevention and education through community trainings, youth programs that promote healthy relationships, and initiatives that encourage allyship and accountability. All services are inclusive and available to everyone, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, immigration status, or background.
