HOLLAND, Mich. – [December 14, 2023], Tulip Time issues its annual call to the community and announces the return of First Bloem as a public event. Tulip Time could not run without its 1,000+ volunteers to assist in making the festival a truly special, city-wide effort. Tulip Time enlists the help of volunteers to help with everything from Dutch Dance to festival operations to parades.

Call to Volunteers

Tulip Time relies heavily on the generous and passionate Holland area community to run each year. Over 1,200 volunteer positions will be open to the public. Willing volunteers can support their community festival by volunteering for shifts for everything from docents to floral set up for the Tulip Immersion Garden, to parking lot attendants, to concert attendants.

Volunteer registration begins January 09, 2024.

First Bloem Opens to the Public

First Bloem, previously an invite-only event, is opening to the public.

First Bloem is Tulip Time's celebration and unveiling of the year's official Tulip Time artwork and poster. This year's First Bloem, however, will reveal much more than that. It will also be the opening day for the annual quilt raffle and the first-ever bike raffle. Tulip Time will also be unveiling something truly special, and only those in attendance at First Bloem will have first access to see the surprise. Tickets for First Bloem will be available on Tulip Time's website. A limited number of tickets will go on sale the week of January 8th, 2024 for $95 each. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to fund the Arts of Tulip Time.
