ZEELAND TWP. --- Mark your calendars! The annual Walters Gardens Plant Sale returns on Saturday, May 17, from 8am to 1pm in the Walters Gardens parking lot at 1992 96th Ave, Zeeland. This popular event gives community members a chance to support a local cause while shopping for high-quality plants.
The Plant Sale will showcase up to 20 varieties of plug and bare root perennials – all available directly from Walters Gardens, a globally recognized grower. It’s the only time of the year the public can purchase directly from Walters Gardens, with the bonus of speaking with their experts for gardening tips, advice, and insights into fan-favorite varieties.
Each plug will be priced at $3, and bare root plants will be $5. Cash, check, and all major credit cards will be accepted at the event.
Most importantly, all proceeds will be donated to Harvest Stand Ministries, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families in need. Harvest Stand provides free food, clothing, and resource connections to the community. The Plant Sale is one of the ways in which Harvest Stand Ministries receives funds to continue to provide these services all year long.
