Cunningham Dalman welcomes senior litigator John Fitzpatrick to the firm.
HOLLAND, Mich. (June 1, 2022) – Cunningham Dalman PC is pleased to announce that John Fitzpatrick has joined the firm as a Senior Litigation Counsel. John gained admission to the Illinois bar in 2002 and recently gained admission to the State Bar of Michigan in April 2022.
Prior to joining Cunningham Dalman, John was a partner with a mid-sized litigation firm based in Chicago, Illinois and specialized in a cross-section of litigation work including commercial disputes, intellectual property (trade secrets, copyright, and trademark), employment matters, class action defense and corporate governance. After trying several complex civil cases in state and federal courts, John gained admission to the Federal Trial Bar for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 2006.
Mr. Fitzpatrick has substantial “first chair” trial experience and is admitted to practice in numerous other federal district courts and the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He has experience litigating on behalf of mid-market business entities as well as larger corporate clients such as Trek Bicycle Corporation, Oracle Corporation, Fox Sports Interactive Media and Federal Signal Corporation.
John earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002 and a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 1996 (with honors, dual majors in James Madison College).
