| UPDATES Ensure group customers are registered for the new Group Portal We’ve officially retired our Secured Group Services portal. To ensure group customers have uninterrupted access to tools such as eMVP, eMCS, and eBilling, and can utilize new features like D1 Membership Listings, encourage them to register for the new group portal as soon as possible. Principal administrators can use the link below to register. All other users should reach out to their administrator for an invitation to register.

Encourage your members to promote our enhanced Dental benefits Starting September 1, 2025, eligible members will have access to an additional dental cleaning. This enhanced benefit supports those who are pregnant or living with diabetes or cardiovascular disease, helping to reduce the risk of gum disease, tooth decay, and other oral health issues. Regular cleanings can play an important role in overall health, so have your members encourage their employees to take advantage of this added coverage.
BCBSM is transitioning to a new secure email platform Blue Cross is transitioning from the Zix secure email tool to a new platform called ProofPoint this month. If your members previously used our secure portal to receive messages, they will need to create a new login, which will provide uninterrupted access moving forward. If issues arise, users should contact their IT team for assistance, providing the new IP address and Secure Portal URL to ensure access is not blocked.

| NEWS BCBSM Safety Net Grants Support Statewide Health Clinics Blue Cross is proud to commemorate its 21-year commitment to improving access to affordable health care in Michigan by announcing the 2025 Strengthening the Safety Net grant recipients. Through this program, Blue Cross supports 45 safety net health care clinics across the state, enabling them to provide free or low-cost primary care, dental and mental health services to Michigan residents.
Extended telehealth flexibilities for HDHPs New legislation now allows high-deductible health plans to cover telehealth services before the deductible is met — a flexibility that was previously limited to the COVID-19 period. While this is optional for HDHP plans, Blue Cross is reviewing the provision and will share guidance on any potential impacts as it becomes available. Blue Cross leverages data analytics and its Corporate and Financial investigations team to identify and prevent fraudulent activity.
