Hoekstra Electrical Services Acquires Media Technology Solutions

Company Expands Service Offering to Include Audio, Visual & Communications

(Holland, MI) January 2, 2025 – Hoekstra Electrical Services, a leading provider of high-quality electrical and controls and automation services, is excited to announce the acquisition of Media Technology Solutions, a West Michigan based Audio, Visual & Communication Services company.

Media Technology Solutions was founded in 2006 by Rob Witteveen with the vision of providing simplified audio and video solutions for churches, schools, and businesses and over the years expanded to offer video surveillance, access control, and other communication and network infrastructure services. “MTS and HES align in both values and vision, and we are confident that joining forces will allow us to better serve our existing and future clients,” said Rob.

Rob Witteveen will provide leadership as Director of the new Technology Team at HES with Kevin Rummelt continuing to provide world-class management, design, sales, and service. MTS’ team of skilled installers will also join the team at HES.

On top of the existing commercial and industrial electrical services, robotics and controls and automation, Hoekstra Electrical Services will now provide a variety of audio visual solutions including sound systems, projection and displays, live streaming, conference room AV, video surveillance, access controls, structured cabling and fiber optics.
