HR Skills Certificate series

This certificate provides participants with a understanding of the key principles influencing the human resources profession. Each program within the series focuses on one specific area that, when combined with other programs, provides the learner with practical knowledge of the broader HR function. The certificate series is geared toward individuals new to Human Resources and to individuals wishing to expand or refresh their understanding of Human Resources today.


How it Works:

Complete all 7 required programs within 12 months to earn the HR Skills Certificate. Any of the individual HR Skills programs may be completed independently without the need to enroll in the certificate program.


Each program has been approved for recertification credits hours through the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) & SHRM.

*HR Compliance Essentials - Wed. 1/24/24

*Employee Selection and Interviewing - Tues. 2/20/24

*HR Policy Writing and Handbook Development (VIRT) - Wed. 3/6/24

*HR Documentation and Recordkeeping - Wed. 3/27/24

*Common Ethical Challenges - Wed. 4/24/24

*New Employee Onboarding - Tues. 5/14/24

*Compensation & Benefits (VIRT) - Thurs. 6/13/24
