We’re excited to share that we’re partnering with Hand2Hand to tackle childhood hunger right here in West Michigan. From May 6 to  May 15, community members are encouraged to drop off nonperishable food items at our office from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Hand2Hand will use these items to deliver nutritious food to students over the weekends and on extended school breaks to ensure no child goes hungry. Together, we can work to tackle childhood hunger.

Food Drop Off Information:

• Drop offs start on May 6 at 8:00 am
• Food will be stored in the West Coast Chamber
• Please label your nonperishable donations with the following:
  • Company Name
  • Number of people who donated food
  • Email address
• Drop offs will be accepted from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
• Drop offs at the Chamber end on May 15 at 12:00 pm

Most Needed Items:

• Peanut Butter (16-18oz)
• Pudding Cups
• Individually sized & packaged meat sticks
• Canned Spaghetti
• Breakfast Bars
• Microwave Popcorn
• Canned Chicken
• Individual Applesauce
• Individual Fruit Cups
• Individual Boxes/Cups of Cereal

These items can be from any store, but please ensure the expiration dates are at least six months out.
