Junior Achievement of The Michigan Great Lakes Adds New Board Member
Junior Achievement of the Michigan Great Lakes (JAMGL) recently announced the addition of new board member, Stacy Paul. “Having someone of Stacy’s caliber in the STEM space that can offer insight on impacting students and their career paths is critical to our organization,” said Bill Coderre, JAMGL President and CEO. “We appreciate her willingness to share her time, talents and wisdom with our organization.”
Stacy Paul, aerospace engineer and CEO of Array of Engineers (AoE) has worked in the aerospace and defense industry since 2000 on various projects ranging from the manned space program at NASA to modern commercial aircraft to planetary exploration programs to technical defense platforms.
Paul graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1999 with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. After graduating she worked for United Space Alliance in Houston, Texas on the Space Shuttle and Space Station program at NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC). Paul worked on day of launch activities in the mission control room and when she was not planning for a shuttle launch, worked on shuttle enhancements.
In 2005, Paul moved back to Michigan to work on numerous commercial aircraft and defense projects. Following a dream to create a company to promote innovation, growth, bringing more high technology jobs to Michigan, and to promote STEM careers for younger generations, Array of Engineers (AoE) was formed.
Paul is very active in the aerospace, defense, and technology community in the state of Michigan. She is a board member of Aerospace Industry Association of Michigan (AIAM), AIAM Foundation Chair, and STEM Greenhouse board member. She also chairs the Tech Council Advisory Committee through The Right Place.
“We look forward to working with Stacy and AoE to benefit our students in the coming years,” said Coderre. Junior Achievement’s mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy by providing work readiness, financial literacy and entrepreneurship programs to K-12 students.
