LMCU Welcomes Derek Aten as New Vice President SBA Lender for the West Michigan Region


Grand Rapids, MI. (March 28, 2024) – LMCU is pleased to announce the hiring of Derek Aten as a VP of SBA Lending for the West Michigan region.


Aten has worked in banking since 2001. He has spent the last 18 years as a commercial lender in the Grand Rapids area building strong relationships with community members and local businesses alike. Aten is very active in local organizations: being a board member and former president of the Rotary Club of Grand Rapids, as well as serving on the board of CASA of Kent County (Court Appointed Specialty Advocates).
