Local Chambers Unite to Launch the Lakeshore Chamber Coalition

HOLLAND, MI — Three leading West Michigan chambers of commerce—The Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce, Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce, and The Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg—have officially announced the launch of the Lakeshore Chamber Coalition, a collaborative initiative aimed at strengthening business support and regional impact along Michigan’s lakeshore.

The new coalition reflects a shared commitment to regional partnership and unity under the tagline, “Stronger Together Along the Lakeshore.” By leveraging collective resources, networks, and expertise, the Lakeshore Chamber Coalition will deliver greater value to member businesses, enhance advocacy efforts, and spark broader economic opportunity from Holland to Muskegon and throughout the lakeshore corridor.

“The business community thrives when we work together,” said Jodi Owczarski, President & CEO of the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce. “The Lakeshore Chamber Coalition represents our commitment to collaboration over competition. By aligning our efforts, we can offer expanded support and unified advocacy that reflects the interconnected nature of our regional economy.”

The coalition’s focus areas will include regional business advocacy, workforce development, shared educational programming, and opportunities for cross-county networking and collaboration. Each Chamber will maintain its individual identity and continue to serve its unique community, while uniting on larger regional initiatives.
