Bloomsburg, PA, USA—April 24, 2024— SEKISUI KYDEX is undergoing a Die update at its Holland, MI campus through a partnership with Allied Dies, Inc.

SEKISUI KYDEX, LLC, manufacturer of KYDEX® and ALLEN® Thermoplastics, is continuing its investment in its production campuses to support the growing global markets of aviation, mass transit, medical devices, heavy equipment, and automation. Since its start in 1987, SEKISUI KYDEX's growth has been possible thanks to the passion and dedication of its 300-plus employees, suppliers, integrators, and collaborative partnerships.

The company continues to meet its ambitious goals for expanding and refreshing processes and equipment at its three manufacturing facilities. This commitment is bolstered by the unwavering support of its suppliers, integrators, and consultants. The company's present-day expansion spans from a new process automation system at its Bloomsburg campuses to the installation of state-of-the-art equipment at its Holland, Michigan campus, a testament to its strategic direction and unwavering commitment to meeting customer needs.

SEKISUI KYDEX is embarking on a significant die update at its Holland, MI campus, a move that underscores the company's unwavering commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. This update, made possible through a partnership with Allied Dies, Inc. in Chippewa Falls, WI, will enhance SEKISUI KYDEX's manufacturing capabilities with the addition of a newly built 108" Dual Manifold Die. Ben Smalley, Director of Business Development for SEKISUI KYDEX, expressed, "It's through partnerships with organizations like Allied Dies, Inc. that we not just meet, but exceed our customers' expectations."

The new die ensures that SEKISUI KYDEX can continue to satisfy unique customer requirements that are unencumbered by routine tooling maintenance. Doug Darrow, President of Allied Dies, Inc., stated, "We're proud that we worked on and developed the die with SEKISUI KYDEX and took their feedback to make it even better."

For Darrow, people are what truly make the business and their custom dies work. "I honestly believe that your people are your most valuable asset. Every die maker can have the right tooling and patents, but you need great sales, manufacturing, and office staff to really succeed."

The die is a dual-manifold, 108" DuraFlex® model with a dual RapidGap® lip adjustment system and 25"/side of Rapid Deckle®. At booth W5581, the die will be displayed in the exact orientation it will be placed at the SEKISUI KYDEX Holland, MI campus. Darrow continued, "Our philosophy is to go to NPE and offer better products than anyone else in the die business."
